Starting Conversations about UAP & NHI
And June 20 Community Conversation with Chase Williams
We spent a good amount of time over the last week adding materials to the summer conversation fodder post. Below is a mix of old and new, so we are re-issuing this post with some modifications. While it remains slow, there has been some critical movement behind the scenes, and this summer may very well be an ideal time to weave the topic into casual conversation. No matter how far the conversation gets, having someone they deem credible clearly seriously considering this topic is an important drop in the bucket.
First, though, here are details about our next community meeting:
Join a community of thoughtful, UAP-educated folks to talk about all things UPA, NIH, and Disclosure
Our next UAP Community meeting will be on Thursday, June 20th at 7:00 pm EST/6:00 CST/5:00MST/4:00PST.
Chase Williams will join us to discuss his new and unique database, Paradocs, which brings together unusual/anomalous experiences in one database for easy collating, data mining, and research. Such a database will allow us to understand trends across phenomena and domains that are typically siloed (UAP, abductions, religious, random high strangeness, etc..). Please bring yourself and your excellent questions. We will record it, so reach out to Janis at wttafriend@gmail.com if you cannot attend but want to tune in.
We are not alone.
The official position of the scientific establishment is that humans are not aware of the existence of any extraterrestrial civilizations. At this point, it is clear that this position is simply not true. The amount of testimonial evidence by credible witnesses is overwhelming. A large and growing number of officials and people in the position to know, such as military and intelligence personnel, people claim to have seen craft, bodies (alive and not), Alien Reproduction Vehicles (ARV), and a variety of secret military programs, just to name a few. For example, Dr. Steven Greer, founder of Disclosure Project and the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI), reports having testimonies of over 900 whistleblowers, including military personnel, intelligence officers, and government officials, regarding their knowledge of UAP and alleged government cover-ups.
With every new whistleblower and player on the main stage comes claims of a vastly larger evidentiary basis than we have had access to. These claims are becoming impossible to dismiss—even for skeptics. And considering that we are inching closer to disclosure, controller catastrophic, this is a good thing.
Advocate for Disclosure and UAP Transparency
With an upcoming Presidential Debate and the 2025 NDAA under construction, the voices of Disclosure and transparency advocates are critical. There are a few things you can do now:
Currently, the UAP Disclosure Act is NOT in the 2025 NDAA. There are future opportunities to include it, but it was removed from the initial legislation. Mike Rogers (R-AL) blocked UAP disclosure legislation from being discussed in the House of Representatives. Contact his office at (202) 225-3261 to request an explanation.
Sign up to receive notices about UAP advocacy:
Call on #CNN to include a UFO/UAP question in the upcoming #PresidentialDebate on June 27, 2024. Tag the debate moderators and candidates
Moderators: @CNN, @jaketapper, @DanaBashCNN
Candidates: @RobertKennedyJr, @TrumpWarRoom, @JoeBiden, POTUS
Want to start a conversation?
As the summer months approach, bringing opportunities to gather with family, friends, and neighbors for casual conversations over beers and barbecue, consider introducing the topic of UAPs to gauge their interest and opinions. In recent years, UAP sightings, whistleblower accounts, and related topics have been increasingly featured in the news, making it entirely possible that somebody you know is at least curious.
Here are some conversation starters for discussing UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) with friends, family, and neighbors this summer:
Have you heard about the recent government reports on UAP? They're fascinating. What do you think about them?
I was skeptical about UAP at first, but after reading some of the reports from pilots and military personnel, I'm starting to think there might be something to it. What do you think?
I find it intriguing that the topic of UAP has shifted from being a fringe conspiracy theory to a serious subject of scientific inquiry. Have you noticed the change in attitude towards it recently?
I've been reading a lot about UAP sightings lately. It's crazy to think that there might be something out there that we can't explain. Have you ever seen anything strange in the sky?
I watched this fascinating documentary about UAP the other day. It made me wonder if the government knows more than they're letting on. What's your take on all this?
I know it sounds like science fiction, but the more I learn about UAP, the more I think there might be something to it. Have you been following any of the recent developments?
If you decide to go there, you may want to look at our resource list, some of the earlier digests about recent congressional action in this area, especially the Schumer–Rounds UAP Disclosure Act, which was modified for inclusion in the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act.
Remember to approach the subject with an open mind and be respectful of others' opinions. UAP can be a sensitive topic for some, so it's essential to create a safe and non-judgmental space for discussion.
A few other recent official moves and mentions that you can lean on.
Colonel. Karl Nell was Alex Klokus’ last interview at the recent SALT conference on May 21st, 2024. The SALT (SkyBridge Alternatives) Conference is a prominent annual global investment management conference that brings together investors, asset managers, and financial industry professionals to discuss market trends, investment strategies, economic issues, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities in various sectors and regions. The SALT Conference is one the most influential events in the alternative investment industry.
Alex started the interview with a very direct question:
Do you believe that a higher form of non-human intelligence has visited this planet, and that this non-human intelligence exists and has been interacting with humanity? And, how certain are you?
Colonel Karl Nell's response was unequivocal. He stated that there is no doubt that non-human intelligence has been interacting with humanity and that this phenomenon is not new. Nell pointed out that high-level individuals with access to sensitive information, such as Paul Hellyer, Haim Eshed, Christopher Mellon, Luis Elizondo, and David Grusch, are all saying the same thing about the existence of non-human intelligence interacting with humanity. Furthermore, he highlighted that two members of the "Gang of Eight" in the U.S. Senate and Congress, Marco Rubio and Chuck Schumer, signed up to the UAP disclosure amendment last year, indicating that they may not be receiving the whole truth and need to push forward on the issue.
The interview gets increasingly interesting as it goes along—definitely a worthwhile watch. Partly, this is because of who Colonel Nell is, and partly, it's because of where this occurred—at one of the most prestigious and globally economically impactful conferences in the world. This is an excellent video to share with folks in your world who are UAP-curious.
Other recent developments you can lean on
Some new and accessible articles:
Lowery, J. (2023, February 24). The Debrief: Disclosure of national security: should the US government reveal what it knows about UAP?
Gruber, R. (2023, August 1). The Hill. Key senators believe the Pentagon's UFO office is lying.
The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for the fiscal year 2024 includes significant provisions that demonstrate Congress is taking the topic of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) seriously. The bill introduces key definitions such as:
Non-Human Intelligence (NHI) refers to any sentient intelligent non-human lifeform that may be responsible for UAP. Notably, the document contains 18 references to NHI.
Technologies of Unknown Origin (TUO): This category includes materials, debris, vehicles, and equipment associated with UAP that lack prosaic attribution or known means of human manufacture (as opposed to technologies of “prosaic origin,” which refers to having human, foreign, or domestic origin).
Legacy Programs: These are various government, industry, academic, and private sector efforts to study UAP and NHI that predate the enactment of the Act. According to the New Paradigm Institute, lawmakers have made recent progress in securing UFOs/UAP as part of the legislative process.
Rep. Robert Garcia submitted three UAP-related amendments to the NDAA for FY 25. These included the Safe Airspace for Americans Act, the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Records Review Board, and an amendment that AARO has access to the covert intelligence they need for investigation.
Sen. Gillibrand is pushing for a public UAP hearing sometime in July. (This would happen in advance of Lou’s book. Is this purposeful?). Rep. Scott Perry was appointed as a new member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence—a powerful and important appointment for this topic.
With a raft of big names at its helm (Elizondo, Nolan, Nell, Melon, and more), The UAP Disclosure Fund was launched in late May. Its mission is to advocate for greater government UAP transparency. They will focus specifically on advancing and supporting new UAP legislation, providing legal representation for whistleblowers, promoting scientific research, and raising public awareness in an effort to address the UAP issue better.
Tucker Carlson had an interesting segment on the Shawn Ryan Show podcast recently (at about the 2hr 30 min mark). No matter what you think about Tucker, he reaches a very large audience, and the way he grapples with what he's learning and digesting is reflective of how many people will be processing this topic. It's worth the watch.
Rep Anna Luna Paulina gave an interview to Grant Mitt in February, stating that she “got Men in Blacked” (around the 21-minute mark). This is a pretty fascinating passage and worth checking out.
Lou Elizondo's book, Imminent: Inside the Pentagon's Hunt for UFOs, comes out in August ‘24. It has been held up in the Pentagon review offices for quite some time at the defense office of pre-publication security review. This fact, coupled with hints that Lou has dropped along the way, suggests that the content will not only be novel but highly provocative. Its debut marks another inflection point along this journey—certainly a Disclosure highlight of 2024.
Cases to weave in
You might want to weave in some well-documented and compelling UFO sighting cases and facts to support the conversation:
Japanese Airlines Flight 1628 Incident (1986): The crew observed an enormous craft over Alaska for 45 minutes, which was captured on civilian and military radar, prompting an urgent White House science panel meeting.
Nimitz Encounter (2004): During a training exercise off the coast of San Diego, US Navy fighter pilots encountered a 40-foot-long, white, tic-tac-shaped object that displayed incredible speed and maneuverability. The object descending from 80,000 feet to sea level in less than a second outmaneuvered F/A-18F Super Hornets.
Roosevelt Encounters (2014-2015): Pilots and crew members from the USS Theodore Roosevelt reported multiple UAP encounters off the East Coast. Objects described as a "sphere encasing a cube" were observed on radar, infrared, and visually, exhibiting speed and maneuverability beyond known aircraft capabilities.
Rendlesham Forest Incident (1980): In December, US Air Force personnel stationed at RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge reported seeing strange lights in the nearby forest. Two servicemen claimed to have encountered a triangular craft that landed, leaving physical traces at the site. Lt. Col. Charles Halt has spoken publicly about this incident.
Phoenix Lights (1997): On March 13, thousands of people in Arizona and Nevada reported seeing a massive V-shaped formation of lights flying silently overhead. This remains one of the most widely witnessed UAP events in history. While some sightings were attributed to flares dropped by military aircraft, the initial formation remains unexplained. Actor Kurt Russell was the pilot who first reported the incident to ground control in Phoenix. “I saw six lights over the airport in absolute uniform in a V shape.”
O'Hare International Airport Sighting (2006): On November 7, airline employees and passengers reported seeing a disc-shaped object hovering over Terminal 1, estimated to be about 24 feet in diameter, which suddenly shot up through the clouds, leaving an apparent hole in the overcast sky. Despite multiple witnesses, the FAA initially declined to investigate the incident.
Perhaps most intriguingly, there have been multiple instances of large groups of elementary school children witnessing UFO landings. In the famous 1994 Ariel School incident in Zimbabwe, 62 children saw several UFOs land in their schoolyard, and two beings exited the craft. The late Harvard psychologist John Mack investigated and found the children's accounts credible and consistent.
Similarly, in 1977, at Broad Haven Primary School in Wales, a class of 14 children witnessed a silvery cigar-shaped craft land in a nearby field. The teacher and children made drawings of what they saw, which were all remarkably similar. And in 1966, at the Westall School in Australia, over 200 students and teachers saw a saucer-shaped craft descend into a nearby field before quickly flying away. Investigators were stunned by the number of witnesses and the consistency of their reports.
Official disclosure has not happened, but many officials, high-level officials, and professionals have disclosed.
Officials who have disclosed the existence of UAP
Col. Nell is just the most recent high-credibility professional to say, point blank, that UAP exists. There are other noteworthy individuals worth noting.
Here is a merged summary of high-ranking officials and professionals who have disclosed the existence of UAPs, including the years they made their disclosures:
Gordon Cooper (1950s-1970s): Cooper, one of the original Mercury Seven astronauts, claimed to have seen UFOs while a U.S. Air Force pilot in the 1950s. He also alleged that the U.S. government had been covering up information about UFOs.
Paul Hellyer (1960s-2000s): The former Canadian Minister of National Defence has been vocal about the existence of UAPs and extraterrestrial life since the 1960s. 2005, he publicly stated that UFOs are "as real as the airplanes flying overhead."
Edgar Mitchell (1970s-2000s): Mitchell, a NASA astronaut and the sixth man to walk on the Moon, was a vocal advocate for UAP research and disclosure from the 1970s until he died in 2016. He claimed that top-ranking military officials had confirmed the existence of UFOs to him.
Lt. Col. Charles Halt (1980): In December 1980, Halt was the Deputy Base Commander at RAF Bentwaters in Suffolk, England, during the Rendlesham Forest incident. He has spoken publicly about the event and his belief in the existence of UAPs.
Nick Pope (1991-1994): Pope worked for the UK's Ministry of Defence from 1985 to 2006. From 1991 to 1994, he was responsible for investigating UAP sightings reported to the ministry. Since leaving the MoD, he has become a prominent commentator on the UAP phenomenon.
Commander David Fravor (2004): In November 2004, Fravor, a U.S. Navy pilot, encountered a UAP during the Nimitz incident off the coast of San Diego. He has spoken publicly about the encounter and has been a vocal advocate for UAP research and disclosure.
Harry Reid (2007-2017): As a U.S. Senator from Nevada, Reid was instrumental in securing funding for the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), which investigated UAPs from 2007 to 2012. He has continued to advocate for UAP research and disclosure since leaving office.
Luis Elizondo (2017): In 2017, Elizondo, a former U.S. military intelligence official, revealed that he had led the Pentagon's Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), which investigated UAPs from 2007 to 2012. He has since become a prominent figure in the UAP disclosure movement.
Christopher Mellon (2017): Mellon, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, has been a vocal advocate for UAP research and disclosure since 2017. He has worked closely with Elizondo and has been instrumental in bringing the UAP issue to the attention of Congress.
Haim Eshed (2020): In December 2020, Eshed, the former head of Israel's space program, claimed that the U.S. and Israel have been in contact with extraterrestrial beings and that there is a secret underground base on Mars where humans and aliens collaborate.
John Ratcliffe (2020): In December 2020, Ratcliffe, the former Director of National Intelligence, disclosed that there have been "a lot more" UAP sightings than the public is aware of and that some of the objects have displayed flight characteristics that are difficult to explain.
David Grusch (2023): In 2023, Grusch, a former U.S. intelligence officer, claimed that the U.S. government has been recovering crashed UAPs and reverse-engineering the technology for decades. He also alleged that the government possesses intact and partially intact craft of non-human origin.
These individuals have played a crucial role in bringing the UAP issue to the forefront of public discourse and encouraging official investigations and transparency.
Closing
We are at a powerful but uncertain juncture in the story of UAP Disclosure. There are forces that very much want to roll the information lockdown back to where it was decades ago (much like there are forces who want to roll our entire society back to the same era). While these efforts are futile in the long run, they are often successful in blocking or significantly slowing progress. Because of this, anyone who becomes fascinated by this area will also come to understand the value of patience and perseverance.
Regardless of what it looks like, there has been tremendous progress. The fact that so many of the long-time disclosure advocates (e.g., Daniel Sheehan and Steven Greer) and the newer heavy hitters (e.g., Dr. Garry Nolan, Louis Elizondo, and Chris Mellon) are assertively positioning themselves and creating new organizations to push disclosure speaks to the potency and possibility inherent in this moment.
And there is no time to waste. As Janis and her colleague, Darren King, cover in the 3rd episode of their new podcast, Event Horizon, Disclosure is occurring in an ontologically disruptive era marked by a number of very significant movements and moments - geopolitically, climatologically, cosmologically, technologically, and socially - just to name a few. We posit that these are all related phenomena and that Disclosure is best understood in this larger context. There is no way this moment will pass us by - there is too much at stake, and most of us sense it, even if we do not know exactly what is happening.
We appreciate your readership and hope to see you at one of our community meetings! Disclosure belongs to all of us, and it is really fun to compare notes and marvel at what an amazing time it is to be alive.
Until next time~
